~Project Junk~ What Would You Do?

Ready, Set, Brainstorm! I know how creative and extremely talented you all are, so I ask you what would you do? We picked up these super cool pieces on our trip down south last August. I think they are old exterior house vents. Anyways, we love them and it was one of those things that we couldn't pass up, but we weren't sure what we were going to do with them.
I've come up with a couple ideas. Idea #1: making a 3 tiered shelf with metal rods or something. Idea#2: Attaching them together some how and making a magnetic message board. Keep in mind these are just ideas and I haven't thought out the details.

So, I ask you my fellow junkers what would you do? Happy Junking jojo

I'd put them in the garden...prop them up horizontally and let them be a support for the peonies or dahlias??? Or against a wall supporting sweet peas?

Hi JoJo,
I was just going to post about turning them into yard art and letting morning glory grow through them...but I see my friend Joan has already done that. Great minds think alike! We have been friends since 4th grade, which at this point means almost 4 decades! FYI -The erasers are sold at a local bookstore and at a paper store here. If I can get the name of the manufacturer, I'll send it along to you.

- I also was thinking trellis for sweet peas or other climbing flowers.

- You could mount them on a wall, horizontally or vertically, singly or linked to each other, add large cup hooks thrugh the holes and hang kitchen mugs and/or utensils on them.

- Build a simple wood window box and attach the grates on 3 sides.
I think that would be a very cool look!

Can't wait to see how you use them!

Maybe a fire place screen? I'm not sure how large they are so that may not work. I like the yard art idea but you could also put them on a wall and use paper clips to attach photos to them or notes or maybe take out menus if you are like me and don't cook a lot :-)
Pot rack is also another possibility. These look like so much fun! Be sure to post what you end up doing with them.

Thanks girls, I'll definitely post what I come up with. The garden ideas are great and for some reason my mind never went that direction. I'll let you all know. jojo
